Card Personalization Process Overview
- The personalization process involves enabling the MULTOS card and then loading one or more applications.
- Data Preparation creates the applications to be loaded, incorporating cardholder data and application keys where required.
- Enablement data is requested from StepNexus Services. Enablement data sets the card parameters and makes it ready for application loading.
- Application Load Certificates are requested from StepNexus Services. An application load certificate gives permission for the application to be loaded to a card.
Off-card Data Preparation
Cardholder data for MULTOS applications can be securely prepared off-card. This technique helps to make the card issuing process faster and more efficient.
