What is StepNexus Server?
StepNexus Services manage the global key management service that many MULTOS financial card issuers work with. Governments, agencies or integrators may take advantage of this service or may deploy their own StepNexus Server solution to meet their own needs. A StepNexus Server can provide total sovereignty and control of (root) cryptographic keys and services that underpin each issuer, department or agency that is issuing cards or other trusted devices.

StepNexus Server has been implemented by governments world-wide to create Independent Key Management Authorities to support their MULTOS smart card identity programs.

StepNexus Trust Architecture
The StepNexus trust architecture depends upon a combination of technology, processes and physical and logical security arrangements put in place by StepNexus and other organisations including device manufacturers. In total, the architecture represents the most secure commercially available solution for working with trusted devices.
